To maximise the life of a digital print it should be protected from bright light, high humidity, extremes of temperature and atmospheric pollution. The most convenient way to achieve this in the home is by storing the print in a good quality photo album whose leaves are made of archival materials.
If you wish to display your print, you would be well advised to bear in mind the following guidelines:

1/    Ensure that it is framed appropriately: It should be mounted between conservation-quality mount boards. The print should not touch the glass, and the frame should be adequately sealed against atmospheric pollution.

2/    Hang your framed print away from bright light whether natural or artificial, and especially direct (or near-direct) sunlight.

3/    Avoid hanging the frame where there is high humidity (kitchen, bathroom, etc.) or a damp problem. If this is unavoidable, ask your framer to take extra steps to damp-proof  the frame.

4/    Do not hang your framed print above a radiator or other source of heat.

5/    Consider obtaining at least one extra copy of the print for long-term storage in the safety of a suitable album.
